Fib: Bea Arthur has passed away.
Fact: O so not true. The first time I got this message, it was a day before I went to see her live, here in Chicago. Ever so often I see people saying she has passed away... cracks me up. She has a long way to go before her life ends!
Fib: Bea Arthur is a transvestite.
Fact: Absolutely not. She is mistaken only because of her low voice and height. If anyone took the time to learning more about her, they would find out that she is and always will be quite the woman!
Fib: Bea Arthur is a lesbian.
Fact: No! Bea is divorced, but was married for 25 years to Gene Sacks. According to IMDB, she was married and divorced Gene. However, I have not been able to find anymore information confirming that. Now I know that just because she married a guy, that it doesn't necessarily mean that she isn't a lesbian. But the fact is... she isn't. She does fully support the gay community!
