Kiss
It Goodbye
I
had the opportunity to sit and spend some time talking with strangers.
We discussed their own personal concerns. Some were a current matter
of frustration, a memory they may have wanted to leave behind or
a secret they wanted to tell. Once our conversation was over, I
provided them with the tools necessary to write it down, kiss it
goodbye and have it shredded. I
suggested they consider the event as a psychological adventure,
an opportunity to participate in something unexpected. As we met
each other half way, and began a private conversation in a public
space, we had to consider the anxieties of our fellow travelers.
Through the act of unburdening themselves, an opportunity for some
serious healing was able to occur.
